FOUNDER's PROFILE
My name is Angelos Fasois. I was born in Athens, Greece in January 1969. I began formally training in the Martial Arts at the age of fifteen and have been practising different styles of traditional Kung Fu ever since. But still, after all this time, I found out that I have a long way to go.
I began training at a local Judo school and later on at a Tae Kwon Do and a Shaolin Kung Fu school. At the age of 16 I started lessons in the Tai Nui (Dragon and Eagle) style of Kung fu for the purpose of self-defence. Later on, I joined the special forces (Greek Marines Corps) where I envolved with Shotokan Karate and Special Force tactics.
In 1986 I started my training with different teachers in various styles of traditional Kung Fu all around Europe.
Personally, I believe it is not how much knowledge you have that is important, but how your knowledge helps to improve your technique and enhances your quality of life.
I studied and practiced the following systems, under different teachers and students from various countries.

A documentary about CCFB and its founder. Εxcerpts from seminars and interviews shed some light on the philosophy behind the art of CCFB.
I travelled in England and Holland, participating in numerous competitions, forms as well as full contact and semi contact fights, and also gave demonstrations and radio interviews. I won medals and trophies for my country. I used to be a member of the Dutch Wushu Federation.
In 1995, I started studing Filipino fighting systems in the form of seminars and in 1996 I was involved more seriously, with friends, in Filipino fighting systems (Pekiti Tirsia) as a "backyard training". Later on I practiced other systems like, FCS Kali, Sayoc Kali and FC Combatives. Since then I have been teaching outdoors and developing my art as a "homeless" instructor! An Instructor without a school.
In 2005, I successfully completed the Wushu coaching seminar under the Greek Wushu Federation and was accredited under Hellenic Ministry of Sports - General Secretariat of Sports. I'm also a certified instructor in firearms.
I'm the founder of CCFB (combined Chinese & Filipino boxing), a system which was born from systems and experiences.
