KOSTAS TOPOUZIDIS
I was born in Thessaloniki in 1982. At the age of 19 I began to study Wing Chun and I trained exclusively on that system for the next 18 years. On January 2, 2009 I was awarded the 10th instructor level certificate of Traditional Wing Chun and continued to train through to the first provisional master level, which entails the Butterfly Knives form and techniques. I had been teaching everyday classes at a school in Thessaloniki for more than ten years, and I especially focused on sparring sessions.
I found out about sifu Angelos Fasois initially through his youtube videos, which stroke me as fascinating. Thankfully, on September 2020 I had the oportunity to meet him in person in a two-day seminar in Thessaloniki, hosted by Kostas Georgiadis.
I was excited to finally practice some of sifu Angelos’ techniques, and even more so to be accepted by him as a student.
Through sifu Angelos’ teaching, I realized that CCFB, in which kung fu blends together with knife and stick so well, really stands out as a complete and formidable system.
To quote my sifu, “The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you”.
